Falmouth and Helston police have made an appeal to help find those responsible for graffiti damage and to prevent any further damage from happening.

Following reports from St Keverne Parish Council of minor damage to the notice board and graffiti in Coverack. Helston neighbourhood police team has been working closely with staff and students at Mullion Comprehensive School to try to identify the suspect and to stop further issues within the village.

Falmouth and Helston police said: "Students from Coverack were spoken with on the school bus, they were shown photos of the graffiti and advised that they could speak with school staff in confidence if they recognised the tags and could identify who might be responsible.

"Whilst youths have been spoken with from Mullion Comprehensive School, there is no specific evidence that this damage has been caused by young people in the village."
