Helston man arrested on suspicion of rape

Police investigating a report of rape in Camborne have issued an appeal for information.
A 24-year-old man from Helston has been arrested on suspicion of rape.
An 18-year-old man from Redruth has also been arrested, both men have been released on police bail until 11th June and 15th June.
The victim, a female aged in her late teens, is being supported by specially-trained officers.
The incident happened between 11.45pm on Saturday 16th May and 1am on Sunday 17th May in the grounds of Camborne Conservative Club in Tehidy Road.
Detective Inspector Glenn Willcocks said:
"This is a rare and isolated incident. I would like to reassure the public that police are not currently looking for anyone else in connection with this incident."

Detectives would like to hear from any witnesses who may have been in the vicinity of Camborne Conservative Club or using Tehidy Road at the time of the incident.
