A Helston gallery which couldn't launch because of the pandemic is now open and thriving

Bowji Gallery and Studios, located with Roskilly's Croust House Courtyard, was originally meant to open on April 10th.

A spokesperson for Bowji Gallery told Nub News:

"It didn't affect us too much other than having to rearrange exhibitors etc to the new date.

"The biggest difficulty was not knowing when that might be and then having to react very quickly as the Government advice was changed so rapidly."

The Gallery welcomed their first customers in on July 4th and ran their first exhibition until the 18th.

Bowji Gallery continued: "It feels great to be open and we have had a very successful first exhibition and are now into the more permanent work on show.

"Featuring a very exciting group of artists with some wonderful and varied work in all media."

"We would like to thank the Roskillys for being so helpful throughout all of this. They had their own worries but were so friendly and accommodating we owe them our full gratitude and hope to be working there with them for many years to come."

You can find out more about the gallery here.
