One of the main routes through Helston is set to be subject to a short road closure this month for a Cury Hunt meet.

The traditional Cury Hunt meet looks like it's due to go ahead this year after last year's event was impacted by coronavirus.

As a result, Coinagehall Street will be closed on December 27th from 10:30am until 12pm.

Kevin Bryant, Head of Highways and Infrastructure, commented:

"The council is satisfied that the order is needed to facilitate the holding of the following relevant event Traditional boxing day meet of the Cury Foxhounds.

"While the order is in operation traffic, including bicycle movement, along the highway, will be temporarily prohibited.

"No personnel, except upon the direction of a police constable in uniform, cause or permit any vehicle or pedal cycle to enter on, proceed or wait in the length of road."
