A Cornwall theme park is holding a Jobs Fair on Wednesday, 26th February from 10am – 1pm to recruit new staff for the start of the 2020 season.

Flambards, which fully re-opens to visitors on the 28th March, is looking to recruit around 80 members of staff for roles ranging from customer service hosts to catering assistants and ride operators.

The park is hosting the recruitment day in conjunction with Helston Jobcentre.

Flambards' General Manager Richard Smith, said:

"It is vitally important for us to get people who understand the importance of quality customer service, we want everyone that comes to Flambards to have the best day of the week - from the moment they arrive to the moment they leave."

Applicants should have very good customer service skills, with a positive, flexible attitude in a busy work environment.

Working Hours will be subject to the park opening and are varied between 9am and 5pm (9pm on firework dates) over a seven day period. Employment will be part-time with the possibility of more hours during the high season and School holidays.

Employment is expected to commence mid-March for staff training and end on or around October 30th 2020. A uniform dress code is applied.

  • The Jobs Fair will take place at One2Eleven, adjacent to Flambards on Wednesday, 26th February between 10am and 1pm. Application forms can be collected by emailing [email protected] or in person at Flambards or your local JobCentre.
