First glimpse: A look inside the new look Seven Stars pub Helston after reopening

By Joseph Macey 6th May 2022

The Seven Stars pub on Coinagehall Street has reopened in time for Flora Day.

Ex-serviceman Craig Little bought The Seven Stars back in November 2020 with the hope of reviving the empty building and bringing something fresh into the town.

Thanks to the hard work of Craig and his team - the pub welcomed people back in this week and will be open on Flora Day (7th) from 6am-midnight, serving cakes, coffee, and pasties throughout the day.

Craig has big plans for the building with a rum distillery and a rum bar at the front with bistro/tapas-style food. A function room will be located upstairs that could be used by The Royal British Legion for meetings. A barbecue pit has been built outside with plans for booths so people can eat their food in the garden. Craig is also hoping to get permission to convert a building to the rear into holiday lets.

Looking around, there was a great atmosphere in the refurbished pub, music playing, people chatting, and the sound of drinks pouring. Great to see the Seven Stars building busy again.
