Family of missing man informed after body discovered in West Cornwall

A body has been found after reports of a vehicle at the bottom of Pendeen Cliffs.
The discovery was made on Sunday afternoon (12th) in the Pendeen Lighthouse area.
Units attended including support from the Coastguard and the Ambulance Service; the body of a man was found within the vehicle.
This death is not being treated as suspicious and a file is to be prepared for the coroner.
The family of 60-year-old Richard Mockford, who was reported missing since Friday 10th June, have been informed of this development.
