After the Government's revised guidance, face to face registration appointments are allowed to resume- this will include Helston Registration Office.

The council says the easing of movement restrictions means that they can "now start to process the large backlog of appointments that have built up during lockdown."

A spokesperson for Cornwall Council said:

"Parents wishing to register the birth of their child or couples seeking to give notice of marriage or civil partnership can once again make an appointment to do so with Cornwall Council's Registration Service.

"A number of changes have been made to the normal appointment process and additional measures have been implemented to ensure the safety of both customers and staff.

"Appointments are available at our Helston, Camborne, Truro, St Austell and Liskeard offices, and soon we hope to be able to offer appointments at our Bodmin office.

"Further details of how to request an appointment on-line will shortly be posted on our webpages."

If you would like to know more phone Cornwall Council on 0300 1234 181.
