Nauti But Ice, based at Helston Boating Lake announced an expansion last week.

The business officially opened its new shed at the Lakeside Piazza, serving up coffee, cake and Mr Whippy ice creams.

The Lakeside Cafe in Helston is owned by Lucy and Dave Page, who also run Nauti But Ice & Pizza Restaurant in Porthleven and The Stables Cafe on Penrose National Trust Estate.

They decided to create the new space to help manage the queues in the Helston cafe but also as a nice addition to the park.

Dave Page told Nub News:

"The new place has got a few additions to what we already have at the cafe, we have a Mr Whippy machine and we are also selling hot dogs, we will still be doing coffee, cakes and we have also increased the selection of impulse ice creams (Magnums, Feasts and Mini Milks, etc).

"What we are hoping is that we will be able to extend our opening hours in August and the summer months, and we also think the kiosk will be a great compliment to the summer theatre program we are going to have in the park.

"We are proposing to keep the kiosk open during those performances so people can pop in and buy ice cream, coffee or hot chocolate while they are watching the shows."

The kiosk is open daily 10am to 4pm.
