Emergency services on Helston to Penzance road following accident

A394 both ways re-opened, accident cleared from Trevurvas Lane (Tresowes) to Pengersick Lane (Newtown).

There are reports of delays on the Helston to Penzance road tonight after an accident.

Police traffic updates say the A394 is closed both ways.

The road has been closed since around 9pm this evening (27th).

A spokesperson for Devon and Cornwall Police said:

"A394 both ways closed, stationary traffic due to accident from Trevurvas Lane (Tresowes) to Pengersick Lane (Newtown)."

A resident from the scene posted on social media:

"Accident on the Helston to Penzance road blocked off just before Germoe crossroads. Police and fire engines at scene."
