The dates have been announced for Helston's Sunday Markets for the remainder of the year.

The dates were revealed by Helston Community Interest Company this morning, after holding two arts, crafts and food markets in August and December 2020 which produced "excellent" feedback from stallholders and members of the public.

The attendance figure was said to be in excess of 1500 visitors.

As a result, they plan to hold three markets in 2021, on Sunday 23rd May, 29th August and 31st October between 11am and 4 pm in the Trengrouse Way extension short stay car park, Helston.

The location has a capacity for 30-35 stalls with over two metres spacing between them.

A spokesperson for HCIC, Sarah Pellow, said:

"HCIC is seeking applications from arts, crafts and food businesses based in Helston and the local area, and are expecting a large interest in booking a pitch. If there are more enquiries than spaces, we will hold a reserve list, the cost of a pitch will be £30.00.

"Please send any expression of interest to Jenny Morris at [email protected] by Friday March 19th indicating the nature of your business, and the market(s) you are interested in."

Members of HCIC will then review the expressions of interest for each market and make a decision about the mix of stalls and where best to pitch businesses.
