A Helston business has appealed for the person responsible for damage to the front of their property to come forward.

The Bridal Studio, based on Coinagehall Street, today discovered that the front of their shop had been smashed and scuffed.

Owner Tara has asked anyone with information on the damage to come forward on a confidential basis.

Tara spoke on the incident, saying:

"I appreciate it was very possibly an accident, however, you would have known of the damage you caused. I would have hoped to have been contacted.

"As we all will appreciate, this damage will not be cheap to rectify, especially during a time when business is being affected by the temporary closure due to COVID-19."

CCTV, unfortunately, does not cover the shop and the majority of Coinagehall Street, which has left the studio hoping for the guilty person to come forward.

"I would hope that whoever did this would feel some sense of morality and own up, but I think I'm hoping for the impossible," Tara said.

The Bridal Studio moved into their new premises on Coinagehall Street back in February.

If you have any information on the damage, you can get in touch on The Bridal Studio's Facebook page.
