The Charity based in Cornwall RJ Working has launched a campaign on Crowdfunder to try to reach thousands of young people in Cornwall and consult them on the climate and see what action they want to take.

The group says: The aim is to reach 20,000 young people across Cornwall, with over 40 eco-groups taking action and creating changes such as:

  • Moving their school to renewable energy, learning about reduced costs & efficiency
  • Promoting low-carbon choices and reducing emissions
  • Learning to grow food on their school grounds, taking skills & food home to share
  • Repurposing materials in new and creative ways
  • Developing community resilience and flexible strength for the future

After already reaching 2000 young people across Redruth, Helston, and Penzance the project now wants to give more and more of them a voice, RJ Working shared this message on the site: "It's young people's future – let's hear from them."

Most donations made will be rewarded with nature-inspired artworks but other rewards are available, you can find a link to the Crowdfunder with more information and all the rewards here: Young Voices Better Future-Climate Action Cornwall.
