This week, coronavirus case numbers in Helston and neighbouring towns and villages remain as low as they have been since late last summer.

In Helston and the surrounding villages/towns put together, there were fewer than 3 cases in each area leading up to April 15th.

Each of these areas, like the vast majority of Cornwall, are currently recording 'suppressed rates', meaning that they contain 0-2 people testing positive each week.

Vaccinations

In Cornwall as of April 11th, 252,927 people aged 50+ in the area have had the first dose of the vaccine.

That is about 92% of people aged 50+, using estimates from the National Immunisation Management Service.
