The countdown has begun for the first Helston Christmas Late Night Shopping (find more details on this link) this Friday the 9th with the other late-night shopping nights taking place on the 16th, and 23rd of December from 5 pm.

When you shop around town, ask for a FREE voucher to enter the Festive Hamper lucky draw, you will also be able to Meet Santa and get a photo for free as he walks up and down Meneage Street and Coinagehall Street.

Here are just some of the activities on offer:

  • There will be live music with choirs, bands, and hopefully a Christmas sing-a-long with the whole town at the welcome at Grylls Monument around 5 pm.
  • The Children's Christmas Card competition entries will be displayed at the Methodist Church on Coinagehall Street.
  • A Christmas Market in the Guildhall organised by Helston Town Council.
  • Live music and activities at Inn & Still
  • Storytelling from 5.30 pm to 6.30 pm at 42 The Living Room,
  •  Participating shops are open from 5 pm til late.
  • Some of the musical acts performing: Helston Town Band, Acappella Sound, Helston Chamber Choir, Penzance Guisers, Whippletree Band, Redruth Festival Band, Morris Dancers
