Helston Medical Centre has announced that coronavirus vaccination clinics begin today.

There will be 10 vaccinators at the site, you can park at Trengrouse Way Council car park (free of charge), there will be a temporary entrance at the rear of the building where those receiving the vaccine can be checked in.

A spokesperson for Helston Medical Centre said:

"You may need to wait in the marquee but we hope not for long. From here you will see one of our 10 vaccinators and have your vaccine before proceeding to our waiting room for a short period.

"The surgery car park will be closed except for those with blue badges or to drop off. There is no entry through the usual entrance - this is exit only and a one-way system.

"We are really looking forward to protecting the over 80s population of South Kerrier. Don't worry if you, your friends/family haven't been called yet. We will get to you soon."

For other patients, the entrance to the surgery will be closed except for prescription collections.

There will be a new temporary entrance at the rear of the building during clinics for patients with booked appointments.
