Due to the ongoing threat of the Coronavirus, organisers of Helston Flora Day announced that it will not go ahead this year.

Hon Secretary Nick Wills said:

"It is with the government guidance that we take this decision with a heavy heart, all those invited to take part this year will have their invitations honoured in 2021."

In an announcement on the Flora Day Facebook page this morning:

"This decision has not been taken lightly, a great deal of time and planning has gone into the event, nevertheless, we feel strongly that the health, safety, and wellbeing of all our dancers, Hal an Tow, Band, and the general public must be our top priority."
