Yesterday, Helston based charity shop The Fishermen's Mission was paid a visit by Maria McErlane.

Maria McErlane is a British actress and presenter best known for currently co-presenting Graham Norton's BBC Radio 2 Saturday morning show.

She has played roles in Casualty, The Bill, Holby City and EastEnders.

Maria isn't the only well-known television personality to visit the shop recently, in early August Eric Pollard (Emmerdale) popped in.

The Fishermen's Mission said:

"Lovely to meet you, your friends and have a great time in Cornwall."
