2 arrested on suspicion of burglary, theft & arson

On 26th June 2019, two persons were arrested on suspicion of Burglary and theft of a motor vehicle that occurred overnight 25th- 26th June 2019. An 18 year old female and 21 year old male are currently in custody while investigations continue. They are also being questioned about a series of arsons that happened earlier today, following a series of fires to vehicles and residential properties in the Helston area. 

Police are appealing for witnesses in the Helston and Pentewan, St Austell areas. Anyone with information is requested to ring 101 quoting crime reference numbers CR/56420/19 & CR/56448/19.
