An architectural design firm recently moved into Porthleven and is now looking to build a permanent base.

RA Design Ltd moved their office from St Ives to Porthleven - submitting a planning application for an office and new dwelling on Wellington Road.

The design is contemporary using traditional materials of natural slate and timber cladding.

The office building will consist of space for up to 6 people on the ground floor allowing them to expand the business with a meeting room and kitchen on the top floor in the roof space.

The dwelling will consist of 2 bedrooms, an open plan living area, and a bathroom. There will be a small outside space, 1 parking space for the office, and 1 for the dwelling.

The current status of the application is "awaiting decision".
