Appeal to find missing Helston woman

Have you seen Joanna Aplin?

Police are seeking the public's help to locate a 61-year-old woman missing from her Helston home.

Officers are concerned for the welfare of Joanna Aplin who was last seen at home in the Cadgwith area around 7am yesterday [5 December].

Police have been carrying out land and coastal searches around Helston and the Lizard areas in conjunction with HM Coastguard teams and helicopter, the police helicopter plus the Lizard Lifeboat.

Her vehicle was located at Coverack last night.

Officers are appealing for anyone who sees Joanna to contact them via 999.

She is described as white, around 5ft 3ins tall, and has grey shoulder length hair. She was last seen wearing a grey jersey, a blue anorak, jeans and brown walking boots.

If you see Joanna or know of her whereabouts please contact police via 999, quoting log number 652 of 05/12/18.
