Monday evening saw the return to rehearsals for the Culdrose Military Wives Choir.

The choir last met up properly nearly six months ago,

but hosted online rehearsals during lockdown.

Melinda King, Manager at Fishermen's Mission Helston and a member of the choir, told Nub News:

"Choir restarted at the old cattle market. Very restricted, we have to have two groups alternate weeks, with our three singing parts of six, 2m apart. Only for an hour, but as our last time singing was March, it was just great to be able to see each other.

"We've made two videos during lockdown, thanks to Peter Truin our MD, for sound, and Anna Oliver who produced the videos. Great fun."

Residents commented to welcome back the choir saying:

"Oh I cant wait to come back to you amazing ladies."

A second commented:

"Don't recognise where you are, but looks like great social distancing!"
