A local Helston park has appealed for information following a theft of guidance signs from within the skatepark.

On Friday 18th September at 6pm three skateboarding guidance signs were removed from the park ramps

A spokesperson for Coronation Park said:

"The Skate England Covid-19 Guidance allows outdoor skate parks to continue to operate during this time and should be followed by anyone using the skate park, hence the information signage in place.

"Not only did this waste the park teams time trying to locate these signs (of which one was found near the river) but will also cost the park valuable funds in replacing them, money which could otherwise be spent on looking after and improving the park.

"This petty act of vandalism has been reported to the police along with CCTV images from the evening of the 18th September.

"If anyone had any information or happens upon one of the missing signs please let us know."
