10 metre sinkhole appears in Coverack

There are reports of heavy traffic this evening in Coverack after a sinkhole appeared in the village.
A road closure is in place - likely to be in place for a while due to work to repair the road.
The sinkhole is reported to be affecting traffic heading in and out of Coverack.
Devon and Cornwall Police said:
"Road closed and heavy traffic due to sinkhole on B3294 both ways from B3293 to Polcoverack Lane.
"Following recent heavy rainfall, a 10-metre sinkhole has formed along this stretch."
