Devon and Cornwall Police are seeking the help of the public to trace a 31-year-old man who is believed to be in the Helston, Falmouth, or Redruth area.

The police shared the request on Friday (11 August) but have yet to update the situation on Daniel Shaw who is wanted in connection to a report of assault.

Enquiries have been made by police to locate him and officers are now appealing to the public for information on his whereabouts.

The police said: "Shaw is described as a white male, around 5ft 8in tall, with short, grey-ish brown hair and brown stubble. He is of a stocky, heavy build. Shaw has a strong West Midlands accent.

"Anyone who sees Shaw is asked not to approach him and to call police on 999 immediately, quoting log number 467 of 25 July 2023."
