Warning issued following report of people "poking around" Lizard dairy farm

By Joseph Macey 20th Nov 2020

Farmers and residents living in and around The Lizard have been urged to be aware of suspected break-ins in the area.

The owners of Gwavas Jersey Farm issued the warning yesterday morning after having people "poking around" the farm in the night.

Other similar incidents have been reported around the area with people entering yards without permission.

A spokesperson for the farm said:

"We're pretty sure that last night, we had people poking around the farm. They tried unsuccessfully to take some diesel, which ended up all over the yard. Lock your sheds and take care."

Gwavas Jersey Farm added they were fine but were feeling "unnerved by the whole thing."
