Continuing vandalism to Helston toilets have forced the council to change the closing times.

The Town Council said the "increased frequency and severity of vandalism" mean the toilets will be closing at 6pm instead of 8pm.

Helston Town Council said the change will be for the "foreseeable future".

Revealing more details, a spokesperson for the council told Nub News:

"The most recent two events, both within a week, have involved ceiling tiles being pulled off and the frame being bent and most recently (yesterday) a sink being pulled off a wall.

"If anyone has any information regarding recent vandalism to these facilities please get in contact with us."
