Police confirm missing Helston teenager found "safe and well" in early hours

Police have provided an update following reports of a search for a missing girl yesterday evening.

At around 9:30pm Coastguard teams from Porthleven and Mullion were tasked in the search for a missing person, being deployed at Gunwalloe and Loe Bar among other places.

Devon and Cornwall Police said:

"Police were called at 8:45pm last night to Helston following reports of a missing teenage girl.

"Emergency services attended the area and carried out searches throughout the evening. The girl was located safe and well shortly before 1am this morning."
