Special occasion wear and mother of the bride business Manor Fashions has opened a new shop in Helston.

Owner of Manor Fashions, Ann Pascoe opened up the new shop on Meneage Street this week.

After operating the business from a barn just outside of Helston for around 10 years, Ann made the decision to move into a new premises in the town.

Ann told Nub News:

"The mother of the bride is a personal service, people do need a little bit of help when they are choosing such an important outfit.

"I got to the point where you either give up or you carry on and try to diversify.

"I think that people are looking a bit more local since covid, not everything is in Truro and we have got some great individual shops in Helston - I am looking at JC Williams, how many towns have got a furniture shop like that?

"I am already well known for selling mother of the bride, this means that I get people from Plymouth come down and a lot of those people won't know of Helston so I hoping I can do the town good as well."

The biggest area of the shop will be selling the mother of the bride wear and at the front of the shop is casual wear.

Manor Fashions ise open from 9:30am to 4:30pm Tuesday to Friday and 9:30am to 1pm on Saturdays.
