A man has handed himself in following a crash on The Furry yesterday evening.
A man has handed himself in following a crash on The Furry yesterday evening.

A man has handed himself in and has been reported to court following a crash on The Furry.

Yesterday evening, we reported heavy traffic on the A394 after a vehicle crashed into a lampost.

Today, Devon and Cornwall Police revealed that two men left the scene on foot - failing to report the crash.

A police spokesperson added:

"A 31-year-old man, believed to be the driver, subsequently voluntarily attended the police station and was reported to court for driving without due care and attention, failing to report an RTC."
