Heavy traffic reported in Mullion following crash

Road cleared and traffic returned to normal, accident cleared on B3296 Trewoon Road around Shortwoods.

The police have been approached for further details.


There were reports of an accident in Mullion this morning that caused "heavy traffic" around the village.

A car and a tractor were said to be involved on the B3296 Trewoon Road around Shortwoods, near St Mellanus Church.

Both drivers are said to be okay as they were seen outside of their cars.

A spokesperson for Devon and Cornwall Police said:

"Police were called to reports of a road traffic collision involving a car and a tractor and trailer near Mullion, at around 11am.

"This was a minor collision and the road was clear by around 11.50am."
