Fallen power lines causing disruption between Helston and Penryn

UPDATE: Road cleared and traffic flowing again following fallen power lines.


There is disruption between Helston and Penryn this afternoon following fallen power cables.

Traffic is said to be "queuing" on the route heading through Rame Cross.

A spokesperson for BBC Travel Southwest said:

"At Long Downs, the A394 is closed in both directions due to fallen power cables around Antron Hill."
