UPDATE: Accident cleared on A3083 at the Cadgwith Turn-Off.

Devon and Cornwall Police have been approached for further information.

There are reports of heavy traffic in Lizard this afternoon following an accident involving a pedestrian.

Emergency services are on the scene following an incident between a car and a pedestrian.

The live Devon and Cornwall Police incident map reads:

"A3083 partially blocked, heavy traffic due to accident, a car and pedestrian involved at the Cadgwith Turn-Off."

An eye witness revealed the air ambulance is on the scene.
