Last night two members of the Culdrose Military Wives Choir made an appearance on The One Show on BBC One.

Anna Oliver and Sarah Galloway featured on the show in aid of the Military Wives movie that is released this Friday.

Melinda King, Manager at Fishermen's Mission Helston and a member of the choir, told Nub News:

"Everyone at the choir is so proud of them. Not very often our choir gets picked to join in as we are so far away from everything. They took up a cornish goody bag with cornish cream, biscuits and wine, one each for Kristen Scott Thomas and Sharon Hogan, who were thrilled, it was a St Pirans/Cornish memory gift."

The screening of the movie will be on Friday from 19:30 at the Regal Redruth Theatre and Cinema.

£2 from each ticket to this special screening of Military Wives will be donated to the Military Wives Choirs charity to support women in the military community.
