A popular Helston market is set to return next week for the first one of the summer.

Helston Mayor John Martin has urged residents to come and support the market which will be held on Thursday 13th August from 10am to 2pm.

Coronavirus measures are set to be in place.

The stalls at the market will consist of crafts, baked goods, hand-made cards and more with "background music and relaxed ambience."

Helston Mayor John Martin told Nub News:

"I'm looking forward to shopping at the Monument Market next week. There'll be a good selection of produce on sale in a lovely safe environment. Come and support the first market of the summer."
