Launching on Tuesday 4th August, CAST's programme of creative activities for families will take place outdoors this summer.

CAST-Off is a self-guided trail for families, offering creative things to discover and do along the Cober Valley. Pick up a FREE map and sketchbook from the CAST building (3 Penrose Road, Helston TR13 8TP) and set off to find out more about the history, geography and nature of this special place.

Fill your sketchbook and bring it back to CAST. There will be prizes for children whose sketchbooks are filled most creatively. On Tuesdays and Saturdays throughout August artists will pop up along the way to inspire invention and making.

Pick up information from the building during opening hours: Tuesday to Saturday, 10am to 5pm (closed Sunday and Monday).

Artist-led demonstrations and activities will take place on Tuesdays and Saturdays throughout August between 10am and 12 noon, 2pm and 4pm.

Drop into the CAST learning space on Tuesdays and Saturdays to find out what's happening that day. Details of forthcoming activities will also be announced the day before on our Facebook page and on the CAST website.

CAST-Off is organised by the arts charity CAST, with support from the Garcia Family Foundation, Little Parc Owles Trust, Feast, Cornwall Council and Arts Council England
